Remember my goal make one scrapbook page a week in 2009? I think this is layout number 4. I had better get cracking!!

This is for a summer themed layout sketch contest over on the Pagemaps Blog. I LOVE Pagemaps for scrapbook layouts!! A great MoJo jumpstart!!

Cosmo Cricket is one of my favorite paper lines. All the fun paper is from their "Snorkel" line!!

This months Hanna Stamps release party challenge was to make a window card. It was way harder than it looked. This idea came to me as I am thinking of joining the "Stamp out Fat" thread on Splitcoaststampers. This way I could find a crafting / weight loss buddy!!

This is this weeks sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers. More trial with the white smooch on the hair. I do not care for how it turned out - I am going to try a dark grey marker instead of a black marker and see how that looks.

I have been shockingly short of "Male Cards" lately, so today I whipped up some cards using this cute guy!! Luckily for me - I have a REAL "Fixafella" at home.

Loss of a Pet

Dear friends of our recently lost their beloved furry friend. I made this simple card to let them know that we are thinking of them and that we made a donation to our local Humane Society in their kitty's memory.

Papertrey Ink has two mini sympathy stamp sets (just $5 each) for those who have lost a pet or a child. We always hope we will never need such sets, but the sad truth is I reach for them frequently.

This was a card I did for Gina K. July Release Party Challenge #3 ~ Double Take!!

Now when I was coloring the image, I was paying too much attention to the TV and not enough to the image lines (notice the boo-boos on the eyes and the outer leg). I purchased this bottle of White Smooch on Sat so I decided to try to use it like "White Out". In the photo, it does not look like it did a good job of covering the mistakes, but in real life it did a GREAT job!!!
