My friend Karen made this fun card for the current Hambo Stamps Hogs & Sketches Challenge #10.  She does not have a blog yet, (I hope someday she does - she is super talented) so I am taking care of getting this bright card posted and submitted to the challenge.  Great Job Karen - thanks for playing!!

This is a double duty card.  Crafty Secrets Challenge #138 is to make a "Thinking of You"card and then go one step more and ACTUALLY MAIL IT.  I love these "Domestic Goddess Creative Scraps" from Crafty Secrets.

The second challenge is a card sketch challenge on the PageMaps Blog sponsored by America Crafts Dear Lizzy & Helmar Adhesives (they also have a scrapbook sketch challenge I hope to create an entry for).  Just take a look at the fun sketch & prize package.... why not play along????

What are YOU in for?

This is my entry for the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #78.  This was a sketch challenge to help Celebrate their two year Blog Anniversary - and the prize package is INCREDIBLE!! 

This was one of the first Gruffie images I ever got my hands on and it has been sitting in the stash for far too long!!  If you will notice - I even busted out the Cricut for this one.  There is still time...why not play along!!

Fairy Birthday Wishes

This is my card for this week's Flower Soft Challenge on SCS to make a Birthday Card and use Flower Soft on the project.  This card was inspired by this lovely card by Dini on SCS.

The House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #77 is to "Make A Splash".  It may seem like I am straying a bit here - but my feeling is since snow is frozen water - I have technically complied with the challenge rules.  I knew I wanted to work with this image when I found this scrap of "October Afternoon - Very Merry" paper in my stash.

I encourage everyone to play along this month.  The Hogs & Sketches Challenge #10 is another great sketch and this month they are allowing crafters to use stamped images from ANY Company.  One reason I ADORE Hambo Stamps is because they have the funniest saying and I have never heard a PUN I did not LOVE.

Beer Gardens at the Fair

This weeks challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot is to create a project with embossing that Celebrates State & County fairs.  Now at first this card may seem a little "unrelated", but in this part of the country Fairs often equal "Beer Gardens". 

I used my argyle embossing folder with Red/Black C'ordinations paper.  After  the paper was embossed I sanded it so the red shows through the black.

Splitcoaststampers has a new member company "Flower Soft".  They are having a challenge this week to use your favorite Flower Soft Colors on a project.  The hedgie's hat is made with Polar White & Vintage Christmas Flower Soft. 

Flower Soft also is this weeks sponsor on Card Positioning Systems.  The layout seems simple enough, but boy did I find it challenging.
