July in Review.............

Abby went without a friend Birthday party this year in order to get Jonas Brothers concert tickets. Her Uncle Paul arranged it for her to meet them in person...what a great Godfather!!

My dad and I at a family reunion on his mothers side!! It was fun to see Dad with all of his remaining brothers and sisters!! It also gave me access to lots of photos!!!

Mack's mom & dad came for a visit!! This is a photo of them with Kelley (she was dressed up to do a Murder Mystery Dinner). We always have fun when these two come to visit.

Paper Pack - 12 Days of Christmas

This month's Paper-Pack Swap theme was "Christmas in July". I made sets of Christmas Gift Cards using this fun Penny Black set. It was a lot of work, but I wanted to make something special for the "Craft Ladies" since I know come December I will be too busy to do such a project!!

Flowers for a special friend

When I needed a Special Birthday Card for a dear friend - I made a flower pot card that has been in my "To Try" pile since APRIL when it was a Technique Lovers Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. I would encourage you to browse the gallery for this challenge!! Some talented crafters were able to tweak this idea and make ice cream cones and even a Golf ball Fathers day card!!

June: Fun with friends and "The Foreheads"

We recently went to South Dakota with some friends. We had a great time. Mount Rushmore is impressive and was well worth the trip. I would encourage anyone who is considering a visit to pack up and go!!

My 1st Single Layer Card!!

This month's "Paper Pack" challenge was to make a single layer card (the only PAPER you can use is the card base). I first ran the front of the card through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder to get the dots, then I used my new nestablilty die (Thanks again Karen) to cut out the middle. I sponged the open space and then used two of my new funny Hambo Stamps and stamped on the inside of the card!!
