Asian Anya

This is my card for this month's "Paper Pack" swap which was color challenge (Black, White & a POP of Color). I LOVE the Anya Stamps from The Greeting Farm. The stamps are such a great size and they stamp great!! I did not do any coloring for this card due to the Black & White theme, but I stamped a few extra and I will break out the coloring tools soon.
Next I am going to use a Digital Stamp for the first time. I downloaded "Graduation Anya" for a card I need next week-end. I can not wait to give the digital stamp a try!! Stay Tuned!!

Housework can't kill you...but why take the chance?

That is the sentiment inside this card that I made for the April Paper Pack Swap. The card turned out way different than the sketch I started with - this seems to happen more times than not. I decided not to color the image for a different look - I am not sure about if I like it or not..............

An oldie..............

This is an Archivers workshop project from many years ago. I thought I would post it while I am waiting for my post tax season creative juices to start flowing once again. This looks like a scrapbook page, but it is really a canvas on which all the paper-crafting materials have been applied. This has hung in the kid's bathroom for a long time and is now searching for a new resting place while their bathroom remodel is underway.

February Paper Pack Card

This little guy was so cute, he made me finally jump on the cupcake band-wagon!! This was the card I did for my contribution to my "Paper Pack Card Swap". We all used the same sketch this month from card positioning systems found here. It was fun to see everyone's interpretation.

A lesson from the pooch.................

I LIKE "Homestyle" microwave popcorn!! What I EAT is 94% fat free microwave popcorn. Today while eating my popcorn, I dropped a few pieces. Rupert (the little dog from above) rushed over, smelled the "treat" and walked away. I could not help thinking to myself - smart dog!! All this wisdom coming from a critter that ate poo as a puppy. So tomorrow - I will buy the popcorn I like and share a few pieces with the pooch.
The bigger dog was my faithful pal Bailey who I still miss every day!! SHE would have ate the popcorn that fell to the ground, regardless of fat content and asked questions later!! A girl after my own heart!!

Bunny treat holder

One of MFT's Ambassador Challenges this month is to make a heart themed treat holder - so I made this cone. The paper actually has hearts on it, but the print is too big for it to show on the cone. Oh well - the Dove chocolates tasted good anyway.

Hanna's got a Bug

This months Hanna Stamps New Set Challenge was to use their Backyard Dwellers set. I had mony fabulous ideas, but ran short on time this week - so a card was all I got done. If I had more time I think I would switch it around and use a subtle print for the wallpaper and the wild print for the bedspread. Oh well - next time!!
